Vocal Music
Vocal music training is given to the students. Songs in all languages on festival, patriotic and inspirational are taught in the school. Singing fests are organized through which inherent talents are given expression.
Green Initiatives
SViS is an ardent propagator of sustainable development. With a sheer sense of responsibility to promote the ecosystem following initiatives are taken

Yoga
Being the oldest form of exercise and deeply instilled in our culture. We ensure that every child carries forward this legacy. Yoga through meditation serves as a mental relaxation and develop concentration.
Sports and Games
With a view to identify,develop and encourage the talents of our students and to train the students to participate in various regional and national level competitions, a committee is formed for expert guidance to be given to the students from classes VI to X. Sessions are organized twice a week. Children are trained in sports like volley ball, throw ball, foot ball, basket ball, kho-kho and athletics.
Dance
The traditional form of different dances are taught at SViS to bring out the inherent talents within the child.
Pottery
The school has its own pottery wheels where children are encouraged to nurture the skill of crafting things from a mould of mud.
Art
Art classes are conducted to trigger the creative minds of the children through sculpture, drawing and painting.
Counselling
At most care is taken to promote the personal, social and academic backwardness of all our students.
